Vsako leto znova tisti prvi dež jeseni
spere vroči prah poletja in pusti začetek meni.
Kakor da sem nova, da se nič mi ni zgodilo,
kar bom danes naredila, me bo prvič prebudilo.

Veter vame pihal bo z zahoda,
S sabo nosil me bo na vzhod.

Kot da vse je slika, jaz pa zlezem iz okvirja
in od daleč gledam veje, ki nov veter jih vznemirja.
Listje je preproga, v barve ognja tla pokriva,
zdaj spustim, kar me obdaja,
vsaka misel je minljiva.
